Cracking case, via Facebook: Police said they used the online social network site Facebook to solve a crime Thursday night after a 22-year-old customer of JB’s Pub, 297 S. McLean Blvd. Terrance Johnson (no address supplied) was heading east on Big Timber Road when he lost control of his car as he turned north onto State Street at a
high speed, police said. Johnson was arrested while attempting to flee on foot after his car struck the tree, police said. Police said they looked up the man’s Facebook home page on the cellphone.
